At Baltic LED, we have been helping companies modernise the lighting of warehouses and logistics centres for 15 years, offering comprehensive solutions to ensure energy savings, customisation and compliance with current standards. We support our clients at every stage of implementation - from audit, lighting design, delivery and installation to warranty service. We create tailor-made solutions, placing particular emphasis on maximum energy efficiency and durability of lighting systems.
My name is Mateusz Grabka and I have been actively involved in the transformation of the lighting industry in Europe for 15 years. Together with my team, we have successfully completed hundreds of retrofits of lighting systems in warehouses in Poland and other European countries.
Our solutions not only significantly reduce energy consumption, generating above-average savings, but also improve working conditions for facility users. We serve both tenants of warehouse and production space, as well as developers who care about the comfort and energy efficiency of their properties.
Thanks to our cooperation with an experienced design and technical team, we realise investments in a comprehensive model - from concept and design, through delivery and installation, to full as-built documentation. Such an integrated process guarantees our customers a professional service and the highest quality of service, delivered by a single, trusted partner.
Very often, we encounter conventional or LED lighting in existing investments that generate operational problems, such as failures, insufficient light intensity or high maintenance costs. This may be the result of outdated technologies, improper selection of luminaires or lack of maintenance. We perform a detailed audit to find the source of the problems, and then propose a modernization plan that will improve the quality and reliability of the system, positively affecting the comfort of work in the warehouse.
Our site visit and detailed analysis including an audit are completely free of charge. On the basis of the data collected, we prepare a lighting refurbishment concept, taking into account aspects such as safety, compliance with standards and maximising energy savings. Our solutions not only optimise operating costs, but also improve working conditions and the operational efficiency of the warehouse.
We start with a site visit by our specialists to your company. It allows us to determine whether a lighting upgrade will only involve replacing old lamps with traditional light sources with LED lamps - more efficient and economical. Perhaps a broader modernization project will be recommended, involving changing the arrangement of lamps in the facility, reducing or increasing the number of light points, introducing light intensity control or motion sensors.
Based on the data collected from the site visit and discussion with the client, we discuss the key aspect of the next steps. Do we replace the lighting ‘one-to-one’ and build on the existing electrical installation or do we interfere with the electrical installation and design the lighting to suit the current needs of the building from scratch. The key issue of retrofitting is choosing the right lamp models and lighting control systems. Thanks to an audit, a wide range of LED lamps and many years of experience, we can feasibly illuminate any area under any ambient conditions.
Reducing lighting costs is an important change for a company. A return-on-investment calculation will estimate what energy savings the lighting modernisation will bring and what the payback period will be. We carry out a measurement of the existing lighting, an inventory of the lamps, a system analysis and then proceed to prepare a comprehensive offer. For industrial investments, the average payback period is between 12 and 36 months.
Once we have received approval of the proposed offer, we begin the installation work. Our team includes qualified installers with many years of experience as well as verified subcontractors. It is they who, in accordance with all building standards, are responsible for the technical part of the project. They are in constant contact with the customer and keep them informed about the progress of the work and the They are in constant contact with the client and keep them informed of the progress of the work and the solutions used. The stages of the work include: dismantling and disposal of the current lamps, installation of the new lighting system, installation of the lighting control system, efficiency measurement and as-built documentation.
Based on 15 years of experience in handling warehouse areas, we know that more than 80% of the warehouses we audit do not comply with current standards in this area. Therefore, during an on-site visit to a customer's premises, we carry out a detailed analysis of the lighting system, identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions that significantly improve safety and ergonomics.
We offer state-of-the-art lighting control systems which, when combined with energy-efficient LED luminaires, can reduce energy consumption by up to 90%. On the basis of an audit, we assess the appropriateness of implementing automation and select the most effective solutions, ensuring optimum functionality and comfort.

Baltic LED bases its business on strong collaborations with technology partners that form the foundation of our company. Renowned companies such as Osram and Signify provide us with the latest and forward-thinking technologies that enable us to create the most advanced and modern lighting solutions available on the market. This collaboration directly influences our end product offering, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality and innovation.
The perfect solution for efficient lighting that provides savings and comfort is LED light sources. Wherever we carry out new projects or retrofits for warehouses, we aim to implement an intelligent DALI control system. This system allows LED lighting to be managed automatically using light intensity sensors that adjust the light output according to external conditions. This is especially true for facilities with skylights and lots of glazing that use natural daylight. In communal areas and offices, presence sensors can be used, which further contribute to energy savings.
